A glorious English summer’s day – the ideal setting for Laura & Lee’s 1950’s themed Clumber Park wedding
The 1920’s house and walled garden were the ideal setting for Laura & Lee’s Clumber Park Wedding. Upon arrival at the modest and beautifully placed National Trust property, I was immediately taken back in time to the post-war era of rural England. From the rich array of plants and flowers growing in the immaculately maintained garden to the indoors, where tea was being served in china cups, and the sound of old gramophone records drifted down the beautiful wooden staircase. I met with Lee and his family relaxing downstairs before heading up to see Laura putting the finishing touches to her stunning 50’s look in her custom made dress by Oh My Honey of Brighton.
From such an emotional ceremony to the relaxed ambience of afternoon tea, this wonderful couple’s relaxed wedding day was full of so much joy and laughter. Reminiscent of days gone by, and an insight into their future lives together.
