Alpaca Park Farm wedding

A look at Billie and Adam’s fabulous, unique Alpaca Park Farm wedding in Snarestone

Billie and Adam had originally planned for their wedding to take place back in April 2020. Then the world was plunged into chaos when COVID 19 struck. Weddings were delayed, cancelled and dreams were put on hold. However, this wonderful couple finally managed to get to enjoy their perfect day a year on. This took place at the idylic Alpaca Park Farm wedding venue in Leicestershire.

We could not have wished for a better day, with the glorious sunshine beating down. The chilled, relaxed bridal preparation took place at Billie & Adam’s home near Derby. A short drive took us to the beautiful St. Edmund’s church in Allestree. There we had a lovely service despite reduced numbers, also taking part in one of the last ever register-signings!

Afterwards, we headed off an the half hour drive to the Alpaca Park Farm in Snarestone, Leicestershire. Here we were greeted by the wonderful staff there and shown to the field out back, where SamiTipi had set up their giant hat tipi.

So on to the reception, we had all the usual trimmings with fantastic canapes thrown in for good measure! Lots of fun and entertainment with the garden games, also supplied by SamiTipi After dinner, we took a stroll through to meet the alpacas and other four-legged residents. The donkeys certainly took a shine to Billie’s dress and flowers!

A truly fantastic day for everyone, despite restricted numbers. Billie & Adam had precious time with their nearest and dearest…and of course, I got to photograph it! So here is a selection of my favourites…

Your Nottingham Wedding Photographer’s moments of 2019

2019 was yet another interesting and varied year for your Nottingham wedding photographer, Paul Eyre Images. Begining with Shani & Joe’s awesome Rock & Roll wedding back in March, then off to Hertfordshire for Nealesh & Reshma’s Hindu wedding in April and Michelle & Leigh’s Viking-themed wedding at the family farm.

There has been blistering sunshine, torrential rain, hail, fog, gailforce winds, you name it…but we survived and made memories from it!

It has been a pleasure to visit new venues, such as Hogarth’s Hotel, Solihull, The Walled Garden at Beeston, Haarlem Mill in Derbyshire and Kelham Hall at Newark. Re-visiting regular venues such as Priesthouse by the River , Horsley Lodge and Donington Park Farmhouse.

In November, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I had been nominated for The English Wedding Awards ‘Wedding Photographer Of The Year’. Imagine my delight at winning the East Midlands category, with some very formidable competiton. Therefore I would like to thank all the awesome suppliers and clients who voted for me and made this happen.

From the thousands of images captured last year, here are few that really captured the essence of an awesome wedding! Click on the image below and enjoy 2019 from behind the lens…

Long Eaton wedding photographer Paul Eyre takes a look back over some awesome 2018 weddings in the East Midlands

Here we are at the begining of what promises to be a fantastic year of wedding photography for Long Eaton wedding photographer, Paul Eyre Images. As always, it has been a long, almost painful process of trying to compress the experience of 2018 into a relatively tiny space but here goes!

2018 was another exciting year for me and not only with weddings. With home improvements and the completion of my little camper van project, life has certainly kept me on my toes! Many of the weddings have been ‘new to me’ venues. Venues such as Staunton Harold Hall, Brooksby Hall and Prestwold Hall. It is always a great experience to work at a new venue. It really challenges my creativity which in turn opens up new ideas and concepts. The couples that I have worked with certainly have been amazing and as passionate about their wedding photography as I am. It is always a pleasure and an honour to share a wedding day with such fantastic people.

Just a few wonderful words that make it all worth while!

‘On our first meeting with Paul he was polite in welcoming us into his home to show his amazing portfolio of work. It didn’t take us long to decide that Paul was the photographer for us!’

‘Not being the most photogenic of people we chose to have the pre-wedding shoot so we could be more at ease on the big day. With Paul this is not a problem as straight away he makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera…’

‘Paul is a genius at getting every emotional aspect from your wedding on camera. Emotional speech reactions, laughter and sentimental family moments. Paul and his team really do go above and beyond to get the perfect photograph. We cannot speak of him highly enough’

Mr & Mrs B – Donington Hall, June 2018

Enjoy the small selection of photos and if you love what you see, then please get in touch! I am now taking bookings for 2020/21.
