A closer look at Sam & Josh’s fabulous Kelham Hall wedding…
Back in December 2019, I had the pleasure of shooting Sam & Josh’s elegant wedding at the delightful Kelham Hall near Newark, Nottinghamshire.
As Kelham Hall was a first for me, I took the opportunity to visit the venue with Sam & Josh in autumn. We had a good hour looking around the venue, checking out the best photo spots. It also gave us chance to go over final details, so we all knew how the day would hopefully pan out.
When we arrived on the day, we were greeted with glorious sunshine so everyone was upbeat! I really enjoyed the bridal prep, in a large room with high ceilings and lots of sunlight. The ceremony room gave us lots of opportunity for various angles, even from above. So after the group photos, we managed to head off into the grounds for some creative shots. With assistance from my second shooter, we made the most of it with some creative lighting. The speeches were really heart-felt, therefore providing us with those natural emotions that we crave. More emotion during the first dance and great to see everyone up on the dancefloor!
From start to finish, their day ran really smoothly and everyone had amazing day. So let me share with you the story of their day in a slideshow…
